Elyas Alavi is a visual artist and poet born in the Daikundi province of Afghanistan and now based in Adelaide.  He has published three poetry books I’m a daydreamer wolf published in 2008 in Tehran (5th edition in 2016), followed by Some wounds in 2012 in Kabul and Hodood in 2015 in Tehran.

Poet Ken Bolton worked for a long time at Adelaide's Experimental Art Foundation.  He edited two significant literary magazines, Magic Sam and Otis Rush.  It would be an understatement to say he has published numerous books.  He has published a great deal of art criticism, edited the memorial volume Homage to John Forbes and wrote the monograph on artist Michelle Nikou.

Ali Cobby Eckermann is one of Australia's most celebrated poets.  She was the inaugural recipient of the Tungkunungka Pintyanthi Fellowship at Adelaide Writers Week, and the first Aboriginal Australian writer to attend the International Writing Program at University of Iowa. In 2017 Ali received a Windham Campbell Award for Poetry from Yale University USA. She was awarded a Literature Fellowship by the Australian Council for the Arts in 2018 and a prestigious Civitella Ranieri Fellowship in Italy in 2019.

Jelena Dinic, who arrived in Australia in 1993 during the collapse of Yugoslavia, writes in Serbian and English.  Her first full collection, In the room with the she wolf, was selected for the Adelaide Festival 2020 Premier’s Unpublished Manuscript Award and her writing has featured in publications including Australian Book Review, Australian Poetry Anthology, Australian Poetry Journal and Best Australian Poems.

Juan Garrido-Salgado immigrated to Australia from Chile in 1990, fleeing the regime that burned his poetry and imprisoned and tortured him for his political activism. He has published eight books of poetry and his work has been widely translated.

Dominic Guerrera is a Ngarrindjeri and Kaurna poet, writer and artist who resides on Kaurna Yarta. His work has featured in Artlink Magazine, Granta and Cordite Review and in 2021 Dominic was the recipient of the Oodgeroo Noonuccal Indigenous Poetry Prize for his poem unwelcome to country.

Award-winning poet Jill Jones has published thirteen full-length books of poetry, including Wild Curious Air, winner of the 2021 Wesley Michel Wright Prize, and A History of What I’ll Become, shortlisted for the 2021 Kenneth Slessor Award. In 2015 she won the Victorian Premier’s Prize for Poetry for The Beautiful Anxiety, and in 2003 the Kenneth Slessor Poetry Prize for Screens, Jets, Heaven: New and Selected Poems.

Camille Roulière is an early career researcher whose work explores how humans engage and interact with their environments through art. She also works creatively with a variety of materials, from words and musical notes, through to glass, metal and acrylics. Most notably, Camille’s work has appeared in Southerly, Cordite Scholarly, Art + Australia, Meanjin and The Saltbush Review.

Ruhi Yaganagi is an Iranian-Indian contemporary artist and poet with a love for the arts as a channel for self-reflection, the sharing of stories, and the building of vibrant communities. Her creative passions are constantly growing, ranging from oil painting to jewellery, ceramics, photography, and spoken word. She is currently drawn to exploring concepts of culture, identity, belonging, and spirituality through her art practice.
