Cupid’s Koi Garden is a free, family friendly outdoor event in Keith Stephenson Park, Mount Barker.

Cupid’s Koi Garden features 11 massive interactive structures and ten 'ponds' of water. There are elements of sound, lights and water that interact with people’s movements within the activation.

Cupid’s Koi Garden plays rain or shine. However, in the case of predicted severe weather or high winds, Cupid’s Koi Garden will be closed to the public. Stay across our website and social media for any updates on opening times and closures.

Register your details
Complete the SA Government COVID-Safe QR code check-in upon arrival. Manual check-in will be available on site, please see Adelaide Festival staff.

Cleaning
Cupid’s Koi Garden will be cleaned and sanitised frequently. 

Keep everyone safe

  • Stay at home if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Maintain physical distancing at all times.
  • Practice good hand hygiene. 
  • Follow directions given by Adelaide Festival COVID Marshals, venue staff and volunteers.​

Masks
Patrons aged 12+ are strongly encouraged to wear masks. A limited number of masks will be available for those patrons who have forgotten to bring their own.

Access

Do I need to buy tickets on site?
Cupid’s Koi Garden is a free event and is not ticketed. Pre-registrations are not required. 

When is Cupid's Koi Garden open?
Cupid’s Koi Garden will be open from 10am–10pm daily from 9-14 Mar, 2022. 

Where can I enter Cupid's Koi Garden?
Cupid’s Koi Garden doesn’t have a main entry point and can be accessed via Keith Stephenson Park. Cupid’s Koi Garden is located near the rotunda and playground on the southern end of the park.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?
There are bitumen footpaths in close proximity. However, please note Cupid’s Koi Garden is on grass and may be uneven and difficult to get a wheelchair up close to the structures.

Facilities

Are toilets available on site?
The public toilets in Keith Stephenson Park are located 50 metres north of Cupid’s Koi Garden and will be open during operating hours (10am-10pm).

Is there any catering/food/drinks?
There will be local food trucks on site however operational times and vendors may vary. Reusable water bottles are permitted but strictly no glass please! There will be a water refill station on site. 

Is there an ATM on site?
There are no ATMs in Keith Stephenson Park

Is there shade on site?
There is limited shade in Keith Stephenson Park. Adelaide Festival recommends you slip, slop, slap and bring extra sunscreen with you. 

What else can I do in the area?

Transport

Where can I park?
There is parking available in Keith Stephenson Park near the southern end of the park. There is overflow parking available in the empty lot behind the car park.  

Will there be somewhere to lock my bike?
Yes, we love to encourage cycling to events. There are several places to lock and store your bike near Cupid’s Koi Garden.

What public transport stops are the closest to the venue?
Via bus the closest stops are Stop School Mt Barker High Wellington Rd or Stop 68 Exhibition Rd - West Side
